I will start to really worry if we don't re-sign Ward.
OK we can go back to the market but in reality you are more likely to have success hiring hard nosed Aussie players with A-League experiance than going to places like Sth America or Asia.
If Ward does not resign then we are back to finding the mythical skilled attacking midfielder and recruiting a wide defensive player. With a small squad you can't afford any dud selections like Toto, Mulligan, Diego. I would much prefered to hold players like Ward and Hearfield for squad stability.....they know our system. We don't want to be bedding to many new players in at the start of next season.
With the club struggling with refinancing I can't see a lot of biggish money being splashed around
