Perhaps I have been living under a rock, because I assumed (a) that Ricki/Terry would throw as much money at Marco as they had to; (b) Marco and his dad would have some loyalty. That there would be hard negotiations but Marco would accept Youth Marquee and, I dunno, one of Terry's second-hand Lamborghinis.
I would be much happier if there were at least some gun players who did want to play for us but weren't forced to by a contract. As it is, it really does look like everyone who can jump ship is doing so. Which suggests that the Nix stinks in the nostrils of all decent players, which suggests a real and critical threat to the future of the club, much more so than Terry's money issues.Doloras2011-02-23 12:55:16
