I love the off season. Global politics and football...my two favourite subjects.
If i was Dome and the Welnex I would stop bleating and threatening law suits and start lobbying FIFA and Oceania football to get them to consider expanding the new Oceania comp in the future. Explain how unfair it is to have picked only one of the two pro Oceania clubs.
Maybe if season one goes well then an expansion could happen. Two extra teams, the Nix and a New Caledonia team(if they rebuild Noumea by then)
As for Oz and NZ and the PI. Huge hypocracy IMO. For years we ignored the PI countries. Only useful for us for cheap labour for our factories and farms and a cheap winter holiday. They are some if the poorest countries in the world right on our doorstep and we did nothing for them.
Then suddenly China takes an interest in the region and there us panic in Canberra and Wellington.
