Ultimately it all boils down to money. The club is fiscally conservative which translates into the money they would spend on a GM, head coach, and the DoF. That means a relatively (financially) stable club that does not to worry as much as Western United about paying its bills.
Unless WelNix signed a contract extension with Italiano for half a season with an option to renew it past Christmas if specific KPIs are achieved, there is little chance we can see a change of a head coach. There is very little in the NZ employment law that would allow things that can happen in other jurisdiction (like David Zdrilic at Perth), unless both parties put a clause of some sorts in, during negotiations.
I am just as impatient for another Nix win as everyone else, and hope it will not be another one-off.
