There was a major site hack/crash & rebuild in 2007, and everyone had to re-register.

I was multi tasking on here and SFCU GCU v Nix thread simultaneously on Sunday night ;)

Im done.
Sydney in the lead.

I also don't believe that people wouldn't care about the A-league if we weren't in it.
Maybe if the Phoenix never existed. But not if we got dropped.
People would still follow it.Stefan2010-02-09 16:51:48

None, but more likely to turn on a Melbourne Victory game because they are almost always entertaining.

Melbourne for obvious reasons (I live here)

I go to most home games but have don't really feel any emotion when they win or lose. It's nice to see live football most weeks though.

I'm glad the new Melbourne team is coming in next season because it means a guaranteed 3 nix games

I supported the a-league before the Nix was intruduced.  Backed sydney.  Even saw them play Adelaide at the SFS when Ross Alioisi was captain of the reds.  I have a melbourne shirt, a sydney shirt, an adelaide shirt, a gold coast shirt and a thousand Phoenix shirts.  I like players that play hard and tough (K.Muscatt) but would back against them when playing against our lot.

I have chosen Perth due to being over there a few times and having a great time.

I don't think I would watch even close to as much if the Phoenix weren't involved.

No 2nd team for me either, don't like any of them any more than the others really.

+1. Victory are a good side, best in the comp besides the Nix. I live in Brisbane but can't for the life of me support the Meow in any shape or form. Been to Suncorp but only because the Nix were playing. auskiwi2010-02-09 20:52:49

I will be lynched from a height for saying this, no doubt, but if there were no NZ team in the A-league I would start going to Auckland City games.

I wouldn't call my soft spots for Melbourne and Perth "support"
You know we belong together...

Melbourne - because I'm from Melbourne.

Wonder how this poll would've looked in V3...

I know.. I read it. Thanks for brining it up again
Im so glad that I got all my gear signed after the palmy game now. I told him not to retire.
Still makes me very sad. Ive looked up to him for years.

Thats why we need a youth team, because Steve has been assistant coaching the SBY for a bit.
And he said that he would like to stay on in that role.

Aloisi is not so much of a loss..

I always support the team who plays against a team who we hope will lose. .

Me too.

That's the way to do it

Nothing wrong with that. You should do both! (but replace ACFC with team wellington )

Allegedly

The only folks you would be lynched by are the Auckland fans.

As Tegal says though, you may as well do both, many on here do.

I moved to Melbourne at the start of the year, and have been to a few Victory games, but just can't imagine supporting them in any way.
Mostly because I find 90% of their players highly objectionable.

I'm excited about the Heart starting up next season.
I think it will be quite nostalgic for us Melbourne based Nix fans.
Plus they'll be playing in a brand new, proper rectangle football stadium.
