I'm not confident, nor do I think its possibly the best for the club long term, that they will take transfer earnings this off season and spend it all on the current squad. One of the main sources, the main?, has been cut to a quarter the past couple of seasons. These transfers only cover 1 season of funding cuts from the APL.
Assuming the LBS rumours are true and we have £400k / NZ$930k coming our way, would that money arrive in time to invest in the upcoming season's squad? Or are these fees more of a paper contract paid in instalments?

Edit: Realised after posting this what a good deal it would be for the Nix: they get one "pounds" and we get 400,000 in return.
