If we want "better than A-League journeymen" then they would likely be less known, come from overseas, and want to make a better name for themselves / get a better future deal elsewhere.
If we do not have money to compete for them with other A League clubs on wages then we may need to compete on appetite for risk (getting dud vs getting a gem).
