We had excellent chances to bury that game with iirc, Gael, Lewis, Piscopo, Ball and Rufer unable to convert either having a clear shot on the keeper or a two on one break.
That’s 5 very good clear cut scoring chances. Throw in a difficult Hooper shot in the box, which you know- it’s Hooper- and make it 6 reasonable chances.
We dictated the play, were confident in possession and defended well.
I mean I don’t see things as clearly as the folk who thought Chris Wood had found his level in the Championship…
but I thought it was close to the game of the season, just we converted way too few of our chances, which is a familiar tune.
