3 wins on the bounce, can we make it 4?

If we are not playing Adelaide back into form we are losing 4-0 to the pissants.
Nothing changes here, the last 3 wins were flukes and the time has come to bring us back down to earth.
5-1 Adelaide.

My money at the TAB says yes!

Really think a bit of rotation will come in to this one. Likes of Waine, Old, Van Hattum to possibly come in. Add to that maybe Fenton and Elliott/McGarry just to freshen up the legs considering another two matches coming up on the 16th and 19th. Really just depends on how a lot of players pulled up after Victree game. That, and a winning team is a hungry team, so I'd imagine a lot of the boys will be keen to keep the good momentum they've built going and striving to get into that starting XI.

In saying that, it is a fantastic chance for us to leapfrog Adelaide into the 6 still with games in hand.

Whatever hand we play, let's hope its another 3 points in the bag tomorrow night.

Nix 2-1. Piscopo and Gael to bag us the goals, and more importantly, the points. 🟡⚫🦅

Should be Mauk's last game for Adelaide too, right? Wouldn't mind sending him off with a resounding defeat - give him something to put in his journal!

Surprised about that although Talay said that because they held most of the possession they didn't have to work as hard as normal.

But, I can't imagine Sotirio, Ball, and Sutton will be able to do their usual amount of work.  It's the luxury of having five subs I guess.

 Surprised about that, expect early subs. Although Talay said that because they held most of the possession they didn't have to work as hard as normal.

No real sub for Sutton though?  But not surprised Talay has made no changes. 3 wins in a row with a pretty settled group of 11-13 players, and a bit of a drop off in consistent quality still to the young kids like Old, Van Hattum & Waine.

They grab a win tonight, they'll go into 4th. Big carrot for them, and motivation enough. Helps that this run of games is all in NSW, sleeping in their same beds. No interstate travel draining energy.

But yeah Sandoval and Sotiro could be off as early as 50-55 mins. Temperature a nice 19 degrees C.

 Not looking anywhere near as sharp as against the Vic. Sandoval not looking great in particular.

Well, I take that back.

The goal was coming ever since I said the team didn't look sharp.

Gael!!!!! Bally simply sublime.
simple question, is Isais the luckiest player in the league? he's thrown two elbows when coming into tackles and not been called for one.

Yep, that elbow into Sandoval the commentators said there was no intent. Bullshark there wasn't!

 he did it to Ball pretty soon after as well, it's pretty much his MO.

classic a-league stat, just as the commentators are rabbiting on about how this game is traditionally a high scoring affair the "predicted goals per game" appears.
Nix = .48
Adelaide = .22
stupid stats people.

These commentators + the empty stadiums are really doing their best to dull my enjoyment of us playing well

Good play so far by the boys. Keeping them relatively quiet and great set up by Bally for the goal.

God there will be some tired legs after this one.

One more before the half please lads. 👍

Sandoval has really upped his game since knocking in that goal.

Great pressure these last few minutes, some excellent interchanges and clever passing, not easy on a slick surface by any means.

Understanding between Piscopo and Sandoval is tantalizing to say the least.

Gael and Ball again combining to give Reno a decent chance to make it two, good save from the keeper.
