Fair enough that we wanted to make attacking substitutions but of Fenton, Hooper, Old and Van Hattum, I would argue that only Fenton is likely to win the ball back from the opposition more than occasionally. As for possession,  none will really keep the ball. So attacking, what attacking,  we can't keep the ball.
Agree with that Fenton is the most likely to win the ball back, but Hoops is very good at holding the ball up and has recently shown a desire to drop deep and faciliate general play rather than just being a finisher. The other subs did seem to be (from an outside perspective) the wrong players for the situation, I guess Uffie must have had some sort of plan.

Edit: I guess its worthwhile mentioning that if we didn't mess up one of those three counter attacking overloads (and you'd expect us to nail at least one), we wouldn't be having this conversation and Uffie would look like a genius. A game of fine margins.
