Can't believe how good we are playing. Of course we aren't creating clear cut chances but apart from that, this is the best I've seen us play in a long long time. Victory getting away with foul after foul, this ref is pathetic
I wish there would come a day when LKH, is actually played in his obvious proper position in central defense.
There is a monster of a player there but it’s a bit like asking Winston Reid to play left midfield/left wing at the age of 19.
It’s not doing him any favours and certainly isn’t doing the team any.

LKH struggles defensively, even at left back where the sideline is your friend. hence sutton having to play there. i think he would struggle at this level in the middle of defence right now. you're probably right about this being his obvious place long term.

Looked promising for the first 5 minutes with Piper playing more of a forward attacking role. But the players are struggling to connect with each other- both in passes and in wavelength.

Yeh, seems like he’s there to press high and get flick ons. He’s noticeably not quick chasing the ball in behind.
We attacked more in the first 10 minutes than we have in the last three matches. Would be amazing if we get a yellow or red tonight given what the ref has let go so far. Like the attitude tonight and think we can get something out of.
How fudgeing poor was that. That's what happens when you play toxic chiefball and just try and nick a goal with one shot and defend the rest of the time.

So naive from Ishige. He could have stopped that attack before it started with a foul but was too soft.
I don’t know what to make of Chiefy’s tactics. Part of me feels for the guy. He was easily our most loved coach a year ago and now he’s seemingly one of our least liked ones.
