I thought- his first two left, last one down the middle- this is going bottom right.

This has been an awful watch for the first 22 minutes.

As much as I want to remain positive as we chase a spot inside the six to close out the regular season, it's becoming more apparent that we've become a club with an identity crisis.

We don't know whether we're coming or going, we've got players and a gaffer seemingly already focused on their next opportunities and that comes across clear as day in our play - tepid, one dimensional and often bereft of any exceptional quality. It's scrappy, and we've got results this season, but my god I've aged years just this season alone.

Just as I say that all, and we go get a penalty 😅

you're bang on mate, penalty or not

hopefully the pen can fire the team up. it seems we need that sort of lift as we are unable to generate our own momentum

Bang on. Very sad and frustrating to watch. Can only hope that rather soft pen kick starts us but it's more a hope than expectation. Would be nice to see some true grit and spirit form our lads.

That 30 seconds of play just illustrates my previous point.

What the absolute fudge was that defending?!

I'm a big fan of Hore. Kind of young player I'd love here. Such a 100% player with goof skills and a vicious shot on him, as that near miss showed.

apparently we don't tackle because of past injustices. or something like that.
we need to wheel siggy out of retirement

Sasse has gotta be the most inconsistent player ever where it’s not a game to game basis

79% passing accuracy from us according to the stat that's just popped up on the television.

Feels like it's been a hell of a lot less than that!

breaking news, a sub is warming up

i'm a little weirded out by ifill's ownership of elliott. he was a very good national league player and on course for a good future before they crossed opaths
(in fairness, a lot of it is others making a big deal out of it)

yeah, that's not right

the "9" in "79" means that we must have had at least 100 passes, which i doubt very much

Sasse is obviously talented but he just doesn't behave like a professional footballer. He plays like he's playing for a social five-a-side team where the stakes are minimal. He needs to make high percentage plays far more often.

We look so poor from back to front. Don't deserve to be level. Would like to see Rufer on, and Kosta has not done anything to repay the start

Roar play pretty bad as well, most other teams would have already destroyed us.

Honestly it's like watching a team in their first game of the season: there are a whole bunch of newbies, there are language issues, tactics haven't been bedded in, fitness isn't there. But never, mind all that will be ironed out by Round 24....

Imagine if Old had started all season rather than Sasse. He would already be a better player imho (ignoring injures)

Ah yes good, Boxall off because Payne is well knowing for being tactically astute.

In my defense I thinking I argued we needed one more RB who could also cover the left side in a pinch at the start of the season. We’ve covered the centre of the park, but none of the other 3 could replace Clayton even remotely.

Why sub boxall? I suppose I understand it but still surprised

that's harsh on boxall

talay did not seem impressed about spoonley's line of questioning pre game - about it being nice for nikko to be playing at home

Probs more due to him wanting Elliot on the field and trusts Payne more than Boxall even though Paynes form hasn’t been great
