Has Payne made a pass that hasnt gone to the Bulls. Hes being reckless. He dis some stunning crosses last week but hes still far from his best.

Damn back to the bad times this season - up with the worst 20 minute spells I've seen so far.

This is shark and so disappoitning to watch. Kartum and Conchie terrible. The defence is so deep - really shows how much we are going to miss Rufer next year

2-0. The Nix have not turned up tonight. They mentally are just not there. Nobody is pressing or tracking. Passing is terrible.  How about playing for pride or for the badge?
This could be a thrashing

And the forum’s playing up to boot!

Eh. Heavy touch from Piper for that one. Eck. That’s the bad old days for Piper too. Payne and Tuiloma with mistakes.

And Retre getting back to cover Payne was terrifying to watch. So laborious against a 19 year old or whatever.

Whats that now about 10 shots against in 20 minutes and now 2-0 down?

Shaping up to be a very limp end to the season. Very poor across the board so far...

I can't for the life of me work Tim Payne out. He's so hot and cold. Occasionally he'll play utter blinders with the most cut throat and precise delivery. Other weeks doesn't matter whether it's the all whites jersey or the Phoenix jersey he looks like he doesn't want to be there and would prefer anything else to being on a football field during the 90 minutes.

This defence looks like our first season. Keystone Cops except Eze. Can't trap, can't pass, fuck around with it at the back and found out twice. No fucking clue. 14 contracts up for grabs and these guys don't look interested at all. Fucking pathetic. And to think I was tempted to spend the money and over over for this crap. I guess a complete overhaul on playing staff is essential and 4-2-2-2 is shit.

not to be that person, but if we went to lose 4-0 or 5-0 would it reflect on Greenie or nah.

Would be nice to see someone other than Eze or Hughes actually put in some effort at this point.

Let’s be honest we’re missing an entire midfield. And we’re missing cap and Tuiloma and Payne are not making much of a case for them being our leader next season.

Tuiloma jogging there, not trying to get out and shut down the cross.

The Bulls piling into the box cos goals are on special.

That was down to Tuiloma misplacing a pass, not Kartum.

What a terrible effing pass from Tuiloma that led to that goal. Man, some of these guys are really coasting on their reputations.

Eze is the only one who cares...love this guy!
If we are going to throw this game away then why not start some of the youngsters?. Get BrookSmith on FFS.
And its 3......
Conchie and Retrie are statues in midfield....zero pressing

Tuiloma's move proved that he's not as good as people thought he was.

This game could spell the end of Greenie's chances for the full-time gig.

I think we can see why Kartum isnt getting minutes. Complete passenger. Conchie not covering himself in glory either. Tuiloma and Payne keep getting caught in the press.

We just have zero ball speed or intent to play football.

Okay really not trying to be mean so sorry if it comes across as mean but like so you telling me Tuiloma used to play in MLS? Or was he not regularly playing? Personally hasn't impressed me since coming to Wellington. Sorry....

Regardless of whether your in the Greeny camp or not, it's fair to say it won't do boo to his chances. The same administration sat on its hands for over 18 months while Chiefy-ball sent the performance into a death spiral. Tonight's game is a perfect summary of the train wreck last two years.

We need to get our fighting identity back and be onwards and upwards to bigger and better things next season!

yeah part of me thinks that the administration will give him the job as advertising for someone else will be in the 'too hard basket' or cbf.

You can't blame Chiefy for this performance but it does give you an insight into what he had to work with. Perhaps the players let everyone down. Can't  trap, pass, run fast.

Greenacre really not cvoering himself in glory here. Changes were needed after 20 minutes and thats saying something considering he picked the team. We have no midfield and are just lumping the ball to Piper and Eze and hoping.

If changes aren't made at halftime, serious questions need to be asked cause this is almost as bad as derby 3.

FRC should have played that forward, end of the half and possible transition but looked to turn back.

Who built the squad?

That said I think today's biggest problem is a lack of give-a-shit, we were able to do that stuff the last few weeks. I expected better from those with a marginal WC chance at the very least.

People talking as though there is any chance that Greenie doesnt get the job makes me laugh. Gill was quite open from the very start, before Greenie even oversaw the first game after Chiefy left, that he had no plans of talking to anybody else.

We are struggling a bit in midfield, especially without the ball. When we press its 2v3 in midfield and we aren't getting much from it.

And I would expect better from players looking for a contract either here or elsewhere.  But these guy are just not interested.  And that shows their lack of character or ambition. The Nighthawks would put up more of a fight.

I feel our identity was the game against Victory that we won away at AAMI. We'll never be the biggest club, never have the biggest stars, but the team work hard and play as a group and really fuel that underdog status that we'll always be. We're not a team that fouls a lot, or keeps a lot of possession, or plays intricate little triangles or whatever - but the identity is one of a team that is more than the sum of its parts, we kind of had that under the first Chiefy season and before that in a run of 4 or 5 finals appearances. Never flashy but you could never write us off. We've shown this again under Greenie so far, but today is not one of those days, we look like we don't care.
