First of all, we have been ahead of AFC for the entirety of this season, mid round table doesn't count. And secondly what do you mean briefly, are you expecting AFC to win next week?

I am not making predictions for next week. First I would like us to win tonight against CCM.
On current form, I do not think they will finish first, and I do not think we will finish second last, like last season, but they can get their collective ass in gear and end up challenging for top two.
We may be more effective this season, more than we were the last season, so on a good day we may be able at a pinch push for top four if we do not have many injuries.

I mean that on current form, the signs are they would finish the season placed above us on the table.  I do not think they will finish first, and I do not think we will finish second last, like last season, but likely they will accumulate more points.
OK, they do not look (so far) as imperious in attack as they were last season, but the signs are there that Brook is a decent acquisition (better than Cosgrove).
We may be more effective this season, more than we were the last season, but three of our four goals so far came from one player (Armiento) which has its own risks.  Time will tell how close on the table we will be.
