Not sure if it matters to you, but this from the CCM owners shows there wasn't much of a choice. Basically the vote was whether to enter a legal shark fight to try get out of it. So you'd expect there to be some significant cost in there in terms of lawyers and compensation for breaking the contract. Seems the only way to get out of it is if DNSW doesn't want the negative press anymore.
