Where OVH sorta lucks out on is he doesn't really excel in a certain skill set, his finishing isn't good enough for a striker, he's not that great of a dribbler to beat players as a winger, he doesn't have that burst of pace which can change a game as an impact sub. He's got a decent cross on him and uses his body well but definitely needs to add another element to his game to really excel at A-League level.

Kinda of agree. He's been a bit unlucky from memory (hitting the post at least once??), but he's also had clear chances to score that he's failed to convert.

One of the better crossers in the team, but yeah without say improving his finishing or speed, could be assessed as just too 'journeyman', for the Nix to re-sign him. Their financial model is that young guys coming in via the Academy like OVH, need to be seen as having the potential to be sold to an overseas club. As per Jazzy above, if the 4 years younger Walker is now seen as more likely to be that player to sell for a transfer fee, that's bad news for OVH.
