I don’t think many will take positives from that attendance especially as they gave away 1500 free tickets. Without that it may have been less then 3k, which would be the lowest in the history of the club.

I’ll say those words again   “the lowest in the history of the club”

The saving grace is that there is only one more game in Wellington and the crowd will hopefully be more than 3k to see Rufer off.

However using that as a marketing tool may be difficult.
