Joshy can hold his head high. He made some nice saves, and there was hardly anything he was gonna do about that goal. Great response after what can only be described as a career-shortening mistake.

I'm not sold on him staying on as keeper next season, but I'd love to see a huge resurgence from him and firmly earn the spot. From everything I've heard, he sounds like a lovely, down-to-earth person, so I hope he does well.

Putting him back further into his box seemed to suit him much better, with his distribution from the back not being bad either, even when under pressure. I noticeably wasn't clenching every time the ball got passed to him.

Also really nice to hear others in the fever getting behind him during the game.
See this is the loser mentality at the club I talk about. 'He is a nice guy so he deserves to get given yet another chance'. People wrote Sail off for worse (who is a better GK IMO). Josh is a National League goalkeeper at best.

I said it about AFC when they had Woud and Matt Sutton was free due to Western United. AFC should have signed Matt Sutton and we should have had a crack.

We need an established GK, not one that has blunder after blunder where the point that you feel safer when AKH is in goal.

EDIT: the fact that six people liked your comments proves why we have not won any trophies in our existence.
Shark your toxic why even bother, its your sort of support football teams dont need. Isnt that the strangest thing a teams fans get behind one of their players to support him never ever heard of that happening before must mean the club are just losers. FFS
I'll add some fuel to the fire lol. First up, I can understand both views. But there's a lot of frustration, the club is rock bottom. 6 derby losses in a row, 2 massive howlers from our #1 import keeper that contributed to those, and currently we're bottom of the table. We can be thankful there's no relegation. Maybe that's the reason why we afford players and coaches who underperform more time than would usually be the case in this business around the world.

Final thought: People on here who are critical of the way things are going at least care enough about the club to engage. What should worry us more is the 1000's who don't even show up anymore and decide to spend their spare time elsewhere.
