Others arrive from tomorrow onwards. Grrrrr... Rivals!

Is Egan the tall chap who regularly frequents the FZ so that he can have some interaction?

I wouldn't say Tall.
And here when the Nix play the Glory...
He will probably pop up on here soon.

I swear, these match threads (pre match) are attracting less and less posts...

PAX UPDATE REQUIRED AND I DEMAND 3 POINTS ON SATURDAY FROM THE LADS

Yes this really is do or die if we don't get 3 points here we can write the entire season off..........

I wouldn't say that, but if we struggle to get points away from home, then it's even more important we get them at home.

We haven't had much in the way of anti-jinxing so far this season. That was quite a contributing factor to our success in 2009/10.

It's how you use it that's important. Save it for special occasions.

I see they are predicting a crowd of 6000 in Dunedin for the midweek game.... i sure hope we can do way better in the ROF for a Saturday afternoon game. Weather forecast looks great. Smeltz vs Ifill. If we can't get at least 8000 then we should be concerned.

We need the Sky commentators to talk up Ifill - his GORGEOUS ball skills and reading of the game.  He needs to be mentioned every 3 minutes.

Ifill clearly. Would Judas run the length of the field to celebrate a goal in front of the Fever Zone and make his teammates run back as well?

I don't think so.

A little off topic but does anyone know what has happened to Smith this week?

Just had a look on the Fox Sports site and he seems to have vanished from the squad announcements...

Am I HardNews in disguise?

Could be where he was last week not required in the 15 man game day squad.
All suited up and in with the coperates

Has his injury replacement contract finished?
Permalink Permalink

I believe Smith`s contract was extended until the end of Jan
From the Fox site  Griffiths and Lindsay are added to make squad of 17 (2 to be ommitted)
Leaves Smith and Tats + 2 to be ommitted to the coperates

If anyone between Thames and Wellington wants a lift to the stadium tomorrow I am leaving Thames at 7.00amish and am happy to pick any feverites up along the way... aiming to be at the Back Bencher at about 3.30pm.

PM me and I'll give you my cell phone number etc.

Okay PAXheads - as at 3.10pm today PAX is 6716.  That's about 1000 ahead of PAX when I got tickets for the Sydney match at about the same time.  Inexplicable really as Sydney are a good football team whereas Perth have Jacob Burns.

Can you drop past Petone Railway Station and see if I'm on the platform waiting, matey? (only if you are coming down SH2. Don't make a special detour just for me)

I'm slightly disappointed!

Ooops. I feel bad now.

I wasn't entirely serious when I asked but the fact that you would even consider going 2hrs out of your way to pick somebody up is very kind and noble of you!

Somebody please shout this gentleman several beers at the Backbencher on my behalf!
