All said and done this is a good, and badly needed piece of positivity for the club after a frankly dog shark season.

Well done to the club for getting it across the line.

Now there's a timeline in place with this friendly, and assuming we get past Brisbane tomorrow night, we could well have another fixture shortly after in August for the Australia Cup. Hopefully this is just the prelude to what will hopefully be a quick and decisive off season in the transfer market which allows us to hit the ground running come October sometime.

Back on topic 😅

As for the Wrexham friendly itself, the only negativity I've seen is around the pricing (and Auckland tears at thinking it was going to be them 😭) but in all honesty I think the prices are fairly reasonable - And I say that as someone who will be travelling from out of town.

Looking forward to it though, and its going to be a good chance to catch up with good mates and sink a few brews. The result won't matter at the end of the day, I'm just hoping for a decent turnout - 25-30k might be ambitious, but we'll probably need around that to attract another overseas visitor in the near future.

Bigger picture vision though - solid prep, exposure for the younger lads, and hopefully leads to some quick solid off season acquisitions to get things in place for 25/26.
