The only real formal thing about it is that there are teams and a small pitch set up.

Not sure it's a great idea to have kickarounds on home match days...particularly with afternoon kick-off times.

game's at 4pm right? well 12:30 is better suited to me... i finish work at 12 and then to rugby league park.... but if u guys are starting at 11:30, then i might join in late...

In all seriousness, you'll probably have more skill than me and new's put together (and that's a lot ) so just jump in with the lads...the rule is if the guys get rough you punch them in the nuts...fairs fair.

That's actually sexist, always used to piss me off, especially when in chch we played in a mixed league against an all womans team...you literally had to score twice as many as them to properly win...grrr!
