. Got to say it does look more welsh than english. But still baby talk.
Having grown up with cellphones, email and internet etc. etc. I was always under the impression that 'txt spk' derived from the need to shorten/abbreviate words to fit into a 160 character text message (from back in the dark ages). Therefore, why in the world would you substitute letters, and therefore not at all shortening or abbreviating words, and instead making one look like an idiot? That is beyond me. For example, why use 'lyfe' when it is just as fast to type 'life', or 'cweated', 'fwom'...
And yes I use 'txt spk' a lot, but only in text messages. In any other form of written communication, it's unacceptable and just makes you look like a fool.
