What a collapse from the Roar... it's becoming ever clearer that Melbourne City are the biggest hurdle in our title challenge

Brisbane have seriously collapsed in their last two matches.

Melb C 0 Adelaide 0
Sydney 1 us 3
Brisbane 4 Jets 2
Perth 0 CCM 0
Canberra 3 Adelaide 2
WSW 1 Mel C 2

I think we can safely say City will win the plate. Can't see them slipping up in their last game against the Jets.

City have played 2 more than us so if we win all our remaining games it's ours with our better GD. But yeah CCM is going to be a tough one on Wednesday

Kelli Brown has a brace, as the Jets are leading Adelaide 1-3 with 10 mins to go.

I'll take a repeat of this result against City

Canberra to draw with CCM and us for the win today!

Yeah,we still have a good position- a home playoff and a chance of going thru to the semi final as runner up.

It's the way we are playing that gives me very little hope of anything happening.  The last 2 games have been dire.

Very poor goalkeeping for the goal today.

The team looked out of ideas and desperate.

We still have destiny in our hands largely thanks to our great goal difference. But its a real worry how poor we have been in the last two matches. Away to Adelaide wont be easy. We just need a result that matches that of Canberra.
Im sure Bev will have a plan and we will get second with a home semi

last two home performances are a concern, not to take anything away from the season so far - the team have broken all kinds of Nix records which is great but they need to stay focussed till the end. Clearly it means something if you consider how upset Barry was in her post game interview. Conceding the goal was on Barry and Esson not clearing the save, but we needed the win not a loss or draw. Oh well, beat Adelaide this week and we secure second, it's all in our hands!

Adelaide 0 Us 2

Only way we can finish third is if Canberra beat Brisbane by 15 goals.

Whatever happens in the next few weeks, the girls should be proud.  Highest number of wins in 5 seasons, most goals scored, least conceded.

Interesting a split of records across the board - 10 wins, 5 were at home and 5 were away. 4 Draws, 2 at home and 2 away.  6 losses, 3 at home and 3 away.

CCM 0 Sydney 0
Canberra 1 Brisbane 2

We hold second place outright.  WSW win the spoon due to their crappy goal difference. CCM won't be defending that title. Jets could finish above Perth if they beat City tomorrow but more than likely the positions will be the same.

Jets 1 Melbourne City 2 (they scored two late goals to win)

Final table for the season, ended up with the most goals scored, least conceded and best goal difference.  Pretty dam good if you ask me.  Shame we finished 6 points behind City in the end.

I bumped into 4 of them in Pak N Save last night. I think they were surprised someone recognised them. The price of fame and having a great season ladies! And thanks for giving us all something positive to cheer about this season.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Good news everyone, our bogey team CCM came 7th. Won't have to worry about them at least 😮‍💨

If we make it past the semi final, we'll have our other bogey team in Melbourne City.

It was a much closer race than 6 points makes it seem.

Rnd 6, we absolutely played City off the park but lost to an 86th min Stott header. We take our chances back then and maybe we win the league.
