I'm not on twitter.  Did he mention who scored our goals?
Starting lineup according to Rollo was: Esson; Walker, Barry, Van der Meer; Nunn, Pijnenburg, Jale, Elliott; Anthony, Woods, Benson.

And Mackenzie Anthony scored both goals

No sign of Fraser is a worry.

Looks like Maggie Jenkins got both there goals. I'm sure Bev Priestman would have taken notice of that.

Would absolutely not panic on our end. Was just a friendly game to keep up fitness, and honestly Auckland Uniteds team has more ex-pros that amateurs, they are better than some ALW teams and high time the Knights and APL sorted out their license for the comp so these players can move to their side.

A bit scrappy but good workout against a decent team. Particularly impressed with Anthony who had a solid all round game. Walker excellent at the back. Jale her usual composed self and Nunn was always threatening. Brazendale unlucky to hit the bar with a mid range shot.

Dont know her name but Pynenberg’s second half replacement did a pretty good  Annalie Longo job in the middle.

If there’s room I’d get Anthony on the roster for next year. Best ive seen her play - linked really well with Walker and Nunn.

The Wellington Phoenix have recognised their standout players, staff, volunteers and fans at the club’s annual awards night at Fraser Park.

Mackenzie Barry, who holds the club record for most appearances in the women’s A-League, received the prestigious Lloyd Morrison Spirit of the Phoenix award, while teammate Grace Jale won the Entelar and OPPO women’s Player of the Year.

Grace Jale extends for next season.

Was probably a matter of time once Barry re-signed but great to get it done, the move to CM has been a revelation for her.

I agree. She deserves the best player award she got last night. Has gone to another level this year. Great re-signing.
