Pre season clash between the two sounded like a back and forth battle (3-2 to us iirc). Here's to continuing our very good start to the season.

I would like more from Davidson and breslin, they could be replaced else.

This Adelaide vs Canberra game is cracking good fun! 4-4. 

Under the pump in the early stages here but still managing ok. Just need to be better with our passing out from the back.

The very next second she's taking a shot on goal so why would she go down that easily? For me the arm in the back has floored her hence it's a foul.

Not the best 45 by us. Intention is good but not quite clicking. Though we have had the better of the chances. Looking good for the wind at our backs and Longo and Elliot to give good impact off the bench.

Frustrating. I get there is a very strong wind which is tough to play against, but we have played back and way too much,making it hard for ourselves.  Still it's nil nil,and if the wind is that dominant, we should win this.  Speckmaier and Fraser look a cut above the rest. Breslin and Davidson still frustrating me.
Surely that's a pen against Speckmaier, she was caught from behind, nowhere near the ball.

Knott doing well in midfield. A good shot from Main, but hardly in the game otherwise.

Be nice to see Longo on for Knott at half time. Think that will give us a bit more composure in midfield. 

I think we need both Knott and Flea on. Wouldn’t be taking one off for the other. Otherwise I can’t see us taking control of the midfield

Knott's an underrated player. So good at receiving the ball, protecting it and laying off a pass. Not flashy but the kind of really solid DM you need in your squad.

Not our best game and a tough watch tbh. Mariners may think they should be infront tbh. Still time to get a result outta this one. 

We seem to be overly keen to get pressure the ball the first time the player gets it tonight. rather than jockeying the player a waiting for a chance to nab the ball. 

I should be used to it after all these years but god these commentators are biased.

I think tactically we're losing here. The narrowness of the FBs is meant to a) open up passing lanes to our wide players or b) if not picked up give an option to play out in a more midfield position. I think the main problem is that the wide players are possibly to high in build up meaning that a) is not an option and CCM need only commit 2 or 3 players in a central area and basically takes out 4 or 5 of our players so b) is not effective. The high wide players has meant those counter attacking moments are more dangerous.

I'm surprised the injury seems bad, it wasn't hard contact.

Awful game. Don't want to see Taylor in midfield. Refereeing not good either. Best I leave it there I think.

Disappointing from us. Lots to work on.

Boo. What a incomplete performance. The others this seasons have been quality with flashes of concern, tonight was the opposite. Still playing poorly and only conceding in the 80th min aint bad. Plenty for the team to take away and work on.

CCM did well to stop our attack, but fudge there were a few times throughout I wanted them to just have a crack.

I was surprised the hit to our head wasn't a pen, but then we could have easily been given a red late in the game.

Don’t know the rules. Hard case to make that it’s deliberate. But it was late and dangerous. It seemed the ball had long gone. Which is a foul with the feet? Don’t know the rules, refs?
