Having just spent the last couple of months getting over shin splints I think I'll give that a miss.

LOL me too. I am 11 weeks into a broken collar bone recovery, so there is no way for me. But it looks like fun.

I don't mind getting old, it's the injury recovery time that p*sses me off. I over did it on some free weights a couple of weeks after the shin splints and I still feel pain when raising my right arm. What's that 6 weeks now??

Broke my collar bone when I was four I remember it hurt like f*ck.

That's the normal exepctation. However my next assessment (Nov 13th) will be 4 months. It's on the slow side of the bell curve, and is on the bad break side of the bell curve.

*sigh*

The latest (10 week) Xray does show bone developement with the bottom part of the break now joined up, but there's still a big gap on the top part of the break too.

No sailing until after Christmas. No gym work until March.

A few months into fixing a broken tail bone and its still bloody sore, some things just take time to heal.
