Any other neutrals pleased about the Scottish win?

About time Scotland qualified, international football events just aren't the same without Scotland.

Scotland are the oldest international team in the world along with England, and they have qualified for the WC eight times, which is more than you can say for a lot of teams. They have also produced some of the best players in Europe and one or two great managers.

As a non-neutral Scot and I'm very happy about the win! But... I disagree that international events aren't the same without Scotland. Ok, awesome fans, but a long time since they've brought anything decent to the table in a major event. Yugoslavia being broken up is a much bigger loss to world football than Scotland not qualifying is!

Better than Ireland still, whoopeee!

It's nice for neutrals to like Scotland, but I'd rather it was because of the football they were playing than some historical desire for them to be in it. Scotland used to be one of the best teams in the world, actually probably had the best team in the world in the mid to late 60s. I wish those days were back, but it's like England these days and the players just aren't as good as other teams. In saying that.... awesome set piece this morning that was like the old days, must've been a Strachan move.

A bit of a card, but not the greatest keeper.

Haffey's big moment...sort of. Reminds me of the old joke: "What's the time?" "Nine past Haffey"...
