Sorry if this isn't the proper sub-Forum for an intro. Guy from New Jersey here. Recently have gotten access to the A League on television, and have decided to support The Phoenix, as I have always been interested in NZ. Dream of mine to visit someday. If anyone is into American sport would be happy to correspond as I closely follow just about everything.
Greetings From The USA
Welcome along Guy
We don't get a lot of MLS on TV here but a huge Obafemi Martins fan club in NZ
Our ESPN man is Tommy Smyth, really knows his stuff.
Also find USASoccer Guy on Twitter informative
Welcome to the forum, mate.
Glad to hear the A-League is spreading to new audiences, we need all the exposure we can get.
Not a huge MLS fan here, though I have always been interested in the league's progression since after the 1994 World Cup.
Also, big fan of Micheal Bradley (who played for my home team, AS Roma), Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey - quality players.
...and in case you haven't found it, here's the link to Yellowfever MLS Forum
Theres also a mlb and a nhl thread. Welcome to our messageboard. You may find some of the humour weird but that is normal for this lot.
Welcome, there is a group of us into American Football. I love both the NFL and College, supporting Virginia Tech and the Redskins.

I absolutely bossed our Fantasy Football league, going the whole season undefeated. There used to be a thread about it, but I guess it got lost. You will just have to take my word on it.
Thanks for the replies back fellas. Going to NHL playoff game tonight - I'm a huge NY Rangers fan. Also like the Cardinals & Indians in baseball, Giants & Browns in (American) football, Celtics in NBA, and Notre Dame in college sports. Actually not that into MLS - used to be in the supporters club for the Metro Stars before they went "Red Bull". I support Crystal Palace & Celtic "across the pond".
Mapke Leafs, Blue Jays fan
Eagles, Angels, Rockets and Union(ish).
Devils & Vikings :D
I went to the USA once, I loved it. Hot weather, exotic dishes, camel rides and ancient civilizations.
I'm thinking of Egypt aren't I...
I loved Egypt.
Is this USA place popular with tourists?
Wellington Phoenix (or move the fred lol).
Ravens, Rockets, Redsox, Rapids, Redwings
Wow I never realised they all started with R before, happy coincidence!
Must admit I've been following the Thunder more closely than the Rockets since Steve Adams got involved though.
Off to the states for a couple of weeks in June - got tickets to the Marlins vs Yankees (which is nice as a mets fan) and Bonnaroo (http://lineup.bonnaroo.com/). Yee-hah!
