Government double standards - FIJI
This is beyond a joke and smacks of double standards - it flies in the face of the excuses Clark and Peters were giving at the time for denial of the goalkeeper's visa.
Pay up - now! However, a source said team management coached players on to fill the forms.
"Some players were dropped from the squad for their military connections but these players were made to lie," the source said.
It is believed Seru did follow the team official's instruction when filling her form.
"No player in the team declared any military connection in the visa so they lied to the New Zealand immigration and they got away with it," the source said.
If any exception was made, that is an attrocious double standard.
haha - grab a beer at the backbencher - quick nip across the road to parliment.

"On behalf of Hon Clayton Cosgrove, Minister of Immigration, thank you for your correspondence concerning visas for Fiji sports people.
As the Fiji sports-related sanctions primarily relate to New Zealand's foreign policy, your email has been forwarded to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rt Hon Winston Peters for direct response.

Minister of sport doesnt want to know about it lol. Tho i think it should also come under his watch.
I hope Mr Cosgrove is working behind the scenes to try and find some kind of solution. He can be a bit of a hero here, coming in late with a bit of commonsense and sorting out the mess.
