No spot prizes then either? Oh well, there's always next year.
Who are the Yellow Fever's Club Golfer's?
Pennants Round 1 tomorrow. Have been selected in Championship 4 this season which is a division down from last year. However I am ok with this as our Top 3 teams this year are stacked with very good players.
First stop on the line is Dannevirke tomorrow morning. Havent played there and am looking forward to it!!
Round 2 of Pennants this weekend at Maraenui GC. Not a bad track if its dry. Turns into a sponge at the mere sight of rain as it is very close to below sea level.
My Handicap has now dropped to 6 after some recent form so will be keen keep it going. I did set myself the goal at the start of summer to get my handicap down from 8 to 6 so pretty damn happy with the game at the moment.

Shot 79 on my first look at the track and won both my singles and fourball matches on the 18th hole at 1 Up. Also meant the team won 5-4 on the day.
Well done, keep it going!
If any of you are ever keen on a hit around Hutt Park or wherever, give me a shout.
Have just gotten into things at the range and am loving it (great for my recovery too)... though I am still pretty shark - it's very early days.
Also, if anyone wants a truly ordinary set of left handed clubs (ok for a beginner) with a bag, let me know!
i started 3 months ago, last week i get 2nd place in a begginers tournament, still i'm pretty inconsistent, but oh boy! this is addictive!
Nice one Aza.
It will be 2 years next month since I last swung a club in anger. Hoping to get back into the game again by the start of next summer.
