Out of interest, what do you consider 'going backwards'?

Vim surprised you forgot to mention that Coastal's 4 - 0 win over Western was the 100th time that Coastal had scored in their 130th MPL games

With all this fighting, headbutts and send offs out in the wop-wops it's a shame Parklands have stooped to Waimak's level. Oh well, is it any wonder when it is Wrestlemania week?

I watched all 4 games this weekend Vim, the worst display was the 20 or so middle aged men from the coastal train giving us a half time show. Not one of 365 attempts at goal hit the target, and there wasn't even a gk

I'd like to call bullshark on that. There was a goalkeeper.

You forgot to mention when the Parklands coach was on the bank he gave the referee the fingers when the referee turned his back to get in to position. And giving tactical instructions from the garden, not the car park. The law is pretty clear, maybe the coach/club should read the laws of the game.

You know now that you're a Coastal player you're more than welcome to come and join us for the half time kickaround.

of interest, I was at the game Waimak vs parklands yesterday. Can someone tell me if I'm correct, once sent from the field as the parklands coach was, should he have entered the field straight after final whistle. As I remember (I may be wrong) a waimak player served a long suspension a few years back for only leaving the shed straight after game. Yes I'm an ex Waimak supporter now at another club however parklands and there supporters abuse of the ref was certainly not flash. No wonder there not many refs running around.

Now I'm no Waimak supporter now, just a game watcher but I guess all you Waimak bashers will join the wagon

Pretty sure that's what Broonie's hinting at Vim, he wants to play in goal during those half time kick a rounds. This Friday would be highly opportune don't you think?

i apologise broonie. But I am sick of the bag waimak crap .hearing the language from parklands bench and supporters yesterday was terrible. First time I have watched them I  over a year. Then someone complains that a coach from Waimak gave some back to a screaming spectator in his face, pisses me of. While not a member, player or coach there but involved in a club elsewhere in chch, I know the effort the club is putting in to play with the big boys. Population growth in both Waimak and Selwyn will inevitably lead to mpl status, and its like the chch clubs wish to knock them down. The people involved don't need this crap. The players don't need it. Sure all clubs have thugs but only Waimak gets a reputation. Just bulsharke. Why does football allow this to happen.

  1. Headline doesn't make sense
  2. Nelson did not have a serious shot on goal in the first goal but had several chances after the break
  3. Apparently Coastal had 3 second half goals and finished strongly.

One job.

1     They worked hard to earn that reputation.

2     It's only you that's bringing it up.

3     Football doesn't allow it.

Again another thing that is made up. The supporter in question was actually talking to someone on the Parklands bench, whilst she had her young son with her when the guy in question started swearing.

This supporter then tried to highlight that the language was not appropriate, especially in front of small kids, but the coach in question was the one that got heated.

At no point was the female spectator in the coaches face and definitely did not swear.

It would be quite easy to name who the coach was, but I won't, although if Gaffa is who I think it is I will say that it wasn't him.

Whilst this topic seems to be bringing up a bit of discussion, of which we all know both teams were in the wrong over certain aspects, it's probably best to put this to bed now and allow Mainland to hand out the necessary punishments based upon the referees reports.

All a number of posters are doing is stirring the pot with hearsay reports that are wide of the mark.

Sean McGarr coached Nomads side went down one goal less to Tech than the Hutcie coached Nomads MPL side.

More of Andy Bartons pork pies [or what ever] needed by the Nomads midfield, these Nomads lads only have to look at another player and they fall over.

If you are talking about the 2014 season then records show Technical won all three games against Nomads by 1 - 0 then 3 -0 and the final game 7 - nil.

Holy shark that is embarrassing. I felt bad when I got the tipping points wrong but this is actually someone's job. In fact, it must be more than one person's job as surely there would be someone checking what names are in the hat.

If this is how the national body run the game maybe we shouldn't be so hard on club administrators when they stuff up the registrations.
