Where’s the goal going to come from?
Potentially from some unfancied source.
Waine, Rojas and Greive have been in goals scoring form. As has Kirwan and definitely Tuiloma.
Curiously Libby doesn’t actually have a great scoring record- more a scorer of great goals than a consistent scorer- but 1 may be enough!
Reid scores for the All Whites too- I think I’m still celebrating that 2010 goal.
Though I’d also be happy with a commanding exhibition of centre forward play and a hatty from the captain. Without Singh, that’d rely on Bell, Rojas, Garbett, Lewis or Just or perhaps Libby finding their dancing shoes. All talented players.
Come on New Zealand!

Some trainspotting, Oman had 4 starters from their 1-0 win in Tokyo last September start this morning.

And only 2 starters from their 3rd last AFC WC qualifier, a 2-2 draw against Socceroos in Muscat, in the January window. Their last 2 qualifiers (a 1-0 win over Vietnam & a 2-0 win over China) were a dead rubbers as they couldn't catch the Socceroos to grab 3rd, no matter what. So assuming the Australia game was the more full strength side.

So like the AWs, seems today wasn't their top side.

Anyway the phoney war is over, it all comes down to 90 or 120 mins next week.
