I'm nearer to you Ranix and Nixie than the previous commenters.
There was little to take away from that game, apart from that Barry is a fine player.
As good as a keeper and a shot stopper as Edward's undoubtedly  is,I've always thought she struggles for height, and the 2nd and 3rd goals have not convinced me otherwise.
We seem to be a different team away from home, and looking at the fixture list and our form,I'd say there is close to zero chance of top 6.

I think we need to give up on Taylor playing centre mid. In the second half she was ahead of Whinham and Fraser? Why? Her job is to protect the defence and slow down or stop negative transitions. Not be an option to pass to near their box. Lake would be better in centre mid.
For the third goal Breslin wins it and passes it presumably to the side for Davidson- who was still on the ground! How is she supposed to receive that pass? Then Davidson closes down the player with the ball and Breslin leaves Bolden -their most dangerous player unmarked. I think we need to look at how we approach games in Aussie. Our approach needs to be adopted. I watched the men’s game the other night and we were pretty passive in terms of pressing and dropped deep to stop it being end to end. We aren’t getting the win now, so let’s be a bit more realistic about playing in the heat and get some draws and some more points.

Just finished watching a replay.  My god, so many off the post, and some attrocious passing.
We didn't look great but one of those posts it just goes in and it's a different story.

We really need to work out how to win away from home.

People saying entertaining game? lol. Will be if you're not willing to defend properly and give up 10 or more chances and let in goals. I'd rather it be less entertaining and look like a proper team and win games! we again have fans happy for us to lose...but as long as there are goals at both ends! just got to laugh. We have to be better. mediocrity does not breed success.

McMeeken seemed to have to do the work of two players. Was M Foster actually playing (other than I saw her take 2 corners)? At least Fraser can keep playing for 90 minutes, lovely assist for the second goal. Breslin was very poor when she came on and gave the assist for the winner. Cox did well, Speckmaier is a real difference maker. Longo came very close and also set up McMeeken who hit the post. We lost our structure in that second half. Thank goodness for Barry and Edwards.

we still lack quality especially in passing accuracy as many have mentioned but we need to accept we will get that with some of the players we have out there, and in this league you can kind of get away with it as other teams are very similar. But we have zero game management. Temple is horrendous with his subs for a start and the girls don't understand how to play when they are up, not sure coaching staff have too much understanding either its becoming clearly evident and likely our downfall. Don't want tp state the obvious but every match is becoming a must win...love for us to turn fortunes around and make it but like some my belief is dwindling by the week. Any news on speckers?

There seemed to be weird stuff happening with the team's structure right from the start. McMeeken played in a very defensive wing-back role rather than as wing, to the extent that Foster became almost redundant and consequently shifted to a central midfield position where she was fairly ineffective. Was this really part of the game plan? Anyway, it could explain why McMeeken seemed to be doing the work of two players and why Foster appeared to be MIA.
Later, when Breslin came on, she seemed to operate as a DM. She's obviously ill-suited there, as evidenced by her involvement in Bolden's goal, and I can only imagine Temple was testing her at DM as a possible option for the Western United game.
