Well for starters, there is no way to get hold of anyone at Faceless book to pass the information on to. But the guy who hacked was going around to various contacts I had and posed as me to get details off them and then use their information. Why can't Faceless Book have a security department with a phone number or email address or contact are'sa so you can get their help? The self serving FAQ are a waste of time and you end up running around in a circle.

Buggered if I know what is up with my battery but after all this time, I am now up to 85% capacity. I am kinda hoping that i have accidently given my battery a right proper work out and that it is redoing itself in a good way rather than showing that it is on its last legs. I have heard new batteries are around $129. Almost cheaper to buy a new tablet with the latest quality software.

more chance of getting hot chips at Westpark Stadium !

Yeah but what do you expect them to ACTUALLY DO...?

If some guy who you have identified is using impersonating you and going around doing illegal things then that's a matter for the Police.

Facebook are pretty responsive in my experience. I report pages/people every now and again and usually get a quick enough response.

They have a significant office in Sydney with some decision makers in it but in New Zealand just a sales outpost in Auckland.

If you desperately want to talk to a person I suggest Googling their Sydney office and trying them there. Odds of success: zero unless you have a clear idea of what you would actually like them to do on your behalf. Just telling them you've found a bad man is a bit of a meh moment.

One would assume either investigate if the person is exploiting a secutiry loophile, or close the account.

Here is the original article. https://blog.vellumatlanta.com/2016/05/04/apple-st...

Funny enough, it now maybe user error http://www.imore.com/no-apple-music-not-deleting-t...

When you press delete on a song in your iTunes Library with Apple Music or iTunes Match enabled, you'll see the following dialog:

If you choose "Remove Download," it will send the local file from your hard drive to your Trash, but leave the reference in your library — so that you can stream that track directly from iCloud Music Library. It won't delete the file until you empty your Trash.

This is great if you're on a laptop and want streaming access to your music library, but you don't want the hassle of having 40GB of music on your hard drive. But it should only ever be done on a secondary computer or secondary iTunes Library— never for your master library.

Anyone know of or can recommend anyone to fix a tablet hardware issue? I believe the source of the problem is a 6 wire plug that goes from the battery into the hardware. The battery and USB charging cable are brand new.

HELP as my laptop has crapped out too.

Help please.

Samsung Galaxy Tablet. When I go on Facebook,  I can only type about 8 letters in a comment or even in a messenger commentary then the words disappear, but I keep those first 8 letters... this is only an issue on the tab,et and must be a setting somewhere. On my Samsung phone the same thing works perfectly.

Sensible Advise please. Sick of the Apple v Android bullshark. Both are good.

If it only happens on your tablet and it only happens when typing in the Fb app and not in any others then that app is likely to be the issue.

Check for updates and if it's all good you could uninstall and re-install it. If it's still bung then there could be a compatibility issue between the app and your tablet? How old is it?

Can anyone answer a question for me please?

Bought tickets last year for recent Phil Collins gig at The Mission and got in a good position in the queue. Used my mobile phone to log in.

Colleague managed to log in on a work PC and phone for Elton John tickets today and was in after 10 mins wait on phone and PC was still ticking over an hour later.

Do ticketing websites offer a certain bandwidth for mobile devices or is it just luck?

Ok TV aficionados, if you were going to buy a 65" TV  and were given a choice of a Samsung Series 7 Q75R 65" 4k UHD QLED   or an LG UM 76 Series 65" 4k UHD LED Which would you go for? Ignore the price difference as it's close to a grand, but I am purely looking at this from a quality/technical POV.

They're finiky, I'd run the network over your power cables and put a WiFi access point at each end of the house.

How do you run it over your power cables?? I don't wish to toast my modem/router.

Something like this,

https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NETTPL0410/TP-Link-TL-PA4010P-KIT-AV600-Powerline-Kit-with-AC

What it does is run your network along the magnetic field of the power cable within your house. You plug one in the power point by your router and the other in the power point at the other end of the house.

Then you get two wireless access points and configure them to the same ssid (name) and plug one into your router and the other into the powerline adapter at the other end of the house.

It's very interesting technology but strangely works well and is an alternative to running ethernet cable everywhere and in my experience is more reliable than WiFi extenders.

Edit: apparently you can get variants of these adapters that have the WiFi access point built in. I haven't used one of those but that seems like a simple solution.
So, something like this https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NETTPL0422/TP-Link-TL-WPA4220-KIT-AV600-Powerline-Kit-with-N3

If it's just a mesh booster, they can be sketchy.  But the out of the box Mesh WiFi setups like TPlink decos, Google Nest, Netgear Orbis, etc are pretty damn good.

Most ISPs offer them these days too for no/minimal cost.

Thanks, I went for the TP Wireless one to cut down On the cabling. Works a treat in 2 bedrooms. Got 4 bands out of 5 for signal strength on two laptops.

Thanks all of you for the advice.
