The Spelling Ref maybe a professor of Ingles for all I know, but football is a pretty simple game. If idiom corrections are going to be pulled up, might more need a cricket umpire or rugby ref. I've just read another Wootton variation elsewhere, so the SR is likely to remain busy. Still trying to remember Elliot and not Elliott myself.

Hopefully Elliot can get some SPL mins before season is over. He's had a rocky, up & down career. Lost a whole season/12 mths in Greece with Xanthi where he didn't play a minute as well.
