Is there any video footage of the winner in the Auckland Utd v Manurewa game?  117th minute winner by someone in the #1 shirt if match report to be believed.

EDIT: Found it on Veo.
Keeper launched it out of his hand, allowed to bounce on the edge of the opposing D, and bounced over the opposing keepers head into the goal, who tries to get back and claw it out, but AR gives it.

There is some water on camera and it looks like they did not record from the beginning or missed some, timestamp is 1:15:45

Was an absolute shocker of a stream that. But yes, I suffered through it. Albeit with a few breaks here and there so as to not give myself a headache from the pauses and glitching...

Decently entertaining game in the Napier sunshine though. Result probably about fair as well. Not too sure what's happened to Miramar's season tbh, but Napier are playing some really good stuff this season.

Good to see some representation from outside the Northern, Central & Southern League's for the QF's draw too. With Otago University (Southern Premiership) & Hibiscus Coast (NRFL Championship) making the last 8.

Chatham Cup related news
At the HBC v Ngaruawahia today Trent Mayes of HBC got a straight red card for serious foul play .Not sure what the current penalty is for that but he may miss the Quarter Final although perhaps HBC may reschedule some held over games.
Interesting to see HBC wheel out Adam Dickinson again. They look a bit thin numbers wise at the moment
Game ended 1-1 and ten a side.

Have faith! At least you aren't an Otago Uni fan against Auckland City...

Although with it being on a Saturday night in Dunedin who knows what crowd you'll get.

Think you would get fairly long odds on the 4 home sides winning
Having said that the only one I would bet my house on is Olympic beating Manurewa.
A cold wet night in Dunedin might be a test for Auckland City who haven't looked as unbeatable this season. I see that Tracey got sent off last night and not sure who the reserve keeper is these days .
Whilst Birkenhead to my mind have been the best side in the Northern League this season , don't forget that NCR are second in the Central League and have only lost to Olympic this season. 5 time winners and always tough at home .Would not like to pick that
I'll be at the HBC game at Stanmore Bay. You would think Coastal Spirit should take that but its a 2 horse race and an upset would be nice. Stanmore Bay is quite a wide open pitch and it can be difficult to get your bearings on. I hope HBC pays some attention to match management and stops balls coming onto the pitch from adjacent fields (and the kids behind the goal).Ice Cream truck has been AWOL this season ..Biggest game in HBCs 50 year history you would think so why not a cupset

Yes really looking forward to the game in Whangaparoa, there's a few Coastal Spirit fans coming up and Hibiscus Coast have been very hospitable.

Excellent news about a possible ice-cream truck, and have been told they have moved games around so there should be a big home turn out and not too many stray balls on the pitch! Grandstands are being put in as well!

Game on!

You might be underselling Auckland City's chances a bit there. They're up against a bunch of students that are unremarkable in a local league (they're not even in the Southern League). Good luck to the students, but if Auckland score early on it could be a bloodbath.

OU did beat a Southern League side in the previous round.  They do struggle with getting promoted due to fact students go home for the holidays and so drop points in the middle of the season that perhaps they shouldn't.

OU Facebook page has asked for fans not to bring glass bottles!

Both OU and AC had their keeper sent off in their last respective matches so figured their might be an extra goal or two and looked to see if TAB were offering odds on total goals but they only have a market on the Wellington Olympic - Manurewa game. A side market could be on number of AC players to wear gloves.

Got along to the Olympic v Rewa game. Rewa started the stronger side but the first half was largely devoid of chances except a nice shot from outside the box from Olympic well saved. Watson out jumping 2 at the back post after a drop ball to head in right before half time to make it 1-0.

Mata scored a nice header from a corner early in the second then Watson grabbed another, one of his 40 yard specials after winning it high up the pitch to catch the keeper off his line right into the top left corner.

After that the Rewa 9 lost his head and threw what looked like a pretty weak punch after a scuffle off the ball, I didn't see what started it. I don't think the ref spotted the incident but I was right behind the 4th official who recommended a red and the 9 had to go.

Nguyen headed home a corner late on to make it 4-0 and I wouldn't be surprised if Alex Britten in the Olympic goal had had a nap during the second half. Poor bloke must've been freezing to death.

Olympic definitely deserved winners, onto to the semis!

Dramatic cup tie at a sunny Stanmore Bay
Coastal Spirit 6-5 on penalties after 3-3 draw on extra time (1-1 HT , 2-2 FT ,3-3 ET)
Coast ahead twice during a game that was very even which surprised me given respective league positions but thats the magic of the cup.
First 11 penalties were all cleanly despatched and then HBC 6th may still be somewhere in the middle of Stanmore Bay.
Would love to see video footage of Coastals 2nd goal  as from 20 yards away there looked to be a foul by a Spirit attacker. But then a defender shouldn't have been muscled off the ball in that position.
Good crowd , maybe upwards of 1000.
Pictures on FIFA TV may have been a bit dodgy in the gathering gloom around 5pm
Kudos to HBC for match amangement - a good ocassion
Interested to see Johnathan Gould there .I know he is a bit of a grassroots enthusiast but wonder if he was watching someone for AFC  .Both keepers on display are useful

In extra time HBC hit the crossbar and Precious made an amazing double save for HBC.
Plenty happening including a bit of niggle in which Adam Dickinson was generally front and centre

Dragged my dad and uncle to the Olympic vs Rewa game. They haven't been to a local game in a few decades and were very impressed with the skill of both teams. My dad in particular remarked that Manurewa was far more technically superior to the old Manurewa team that won the cup way back in the 80s.

Stood next to some Rewa fans who harrassed the ref a lot which was great entertainment, especially when one of the officials awkwardly turned and waved at them.

Tønning bungled a deflected free kick from Patterson just after the half hour mark.

2-0 Birko.

Jack Albertini scores for Napier 15 seconds into the 2nd half.

Game on, 2-1 Birko.

Should have been 2-2 in the 47th. Didn't see who it was, Napier player put through on goal by Faulds, and he just seemingly walks it in to an oncoming, and grateful Rodic.

I’m not sure who it was but I thought the Birkenhead player who got a yellow late in the first half was very lucky it wasn’t red. Nowhere near the ball and studs straight into the Rovers player.
