Towards the end the game got a lot better but by and large it was a horrendous snore-fest. A shame about Frei's injury, but after seeing Hakan Yakin play the second half (I hadn't seen him play for years) I can't fathom why he wasn't in the starting line-up.
I'm just happy the Czechs won. The goal was reasonably well slotted. A few scary moments though - namely the Swiss hitting the bar.

Feel really bad for the Swiss. They looked a more enterprising side throughout, even if the game itself wasn't overly exciting.
I thought the Czechs were pretty average, but got a scrappy goal and then a combination of luck and Cech got them the points.
Koller should have retired years ago, he was absolutely awful. Why he stayed on the pitch for as long as he did I'll never know...

I saw parts of the match, and didn't find it very exciting, unfortunately missed the goal. I don't know if it was the same on Sky, but there was no scoreboard so when I woke up I had no clue what the score was. Still, it was good to see some live football on free-to-air TV

Probably just me having a monday morning whinge but this really pisses me off, especially when you wake up to catch some of the 2nd half and have no idea what the score is or how long is left.
Is it just me or did the Czech goal look like a miskick. It looked like he sliced it off the side of his boot. Ended up going in the exact spot you'd want it to though.

Whether it was mis hit or not he will forever maintain it went exactly where he wanted it to go.

Its got to be said, "Czech mate 3-1". Finally won back what I lost on Portugal last time.
