Banished to the ski fields next weekend. Anyone know of an Ohakune establishment likely to show the Nix Vs Adelaide game? Do they know what football is, there?
If you're only going for the weekend, shouldn't you be heading back around that time? I will be driving back, so i'll be missing this one. :(
Not returning til wednesday...Far from the meddening crowds and all that.
Never mind, I'll plod the High Street.
Powder Keg has a two story House and and Latin bash on on Saturday night so I;d cross that off your list HH.
House and Latin? Cogito ergo sum going to give that a miss.
Sweet, 6.30 saturday kick off and the place we're staying at in Kune has Sky, sorted.
Either send me an invite or stop gloating ...my van doesn't have sky sadly!
any luck HH?, or are you wandering the broad boulevards of Carrot Town with a ladder tucked under your arm, looking fora house with a Sky dish on the roof and with nodogdishin the yard?
Well luck of sorts...by the time i got the kids to bed and into a bar (Alpine Rocks?) we were a goal down.
Staff were great to act on my request to change from Rugby to Football. Met an Essex lad who had recently moved to Welly so hopefully after I talked the Nix up he'll be an xtra at the Ring of Fire. However, on watching the game he may prefer to keep with a managerless Hammers side....

We could have a right supporters club on Saturday..wear your RR or Official club merchandise so that we can all bitch together if we can't find anywhere..I'm cautiously optimistic though
good luck HH and fellow snow-bound feverites
I think ever person who has ever snowboarded in both Auckland and Wellington is going to be at Ohakune or National Park this weekend, it's going to be MENTAL.
