Arsenal are in the bottom two teams in the CL with the teams that are left and they are 5th in the PL = Don't deserve to be there

Liverpool and Real Madrid won the CL and finished 5th in their respective leagues that season. Doesn't matter does it?

although disappointed Arse are still in it, don't deserve to be AT ALL.

What?

How does Arsenal not deserve to be there? They got more penalties in than their opponents. And they were not outplayed over two legs.
I was talking about the fact that Roma were unlucky not to get the extra goal to go through

Arsenal were also unlucky not to get an extra four goals in the first leg.

We've beaten Chelski and Manure this season and drawn to Liverpool after being a man down for much of the game. I see no reason why Arsenal can't win the CL. But whoever we draw, I hope they take your attitude into the game.

Its more about who you can't beat then can beat otherwise you would be 1st. And atleast we haven't lost to a team outside the top 5 at home

You're helping my argument - we play well against the top teams, such as the teams left in the CL.

Have watched Arsenal on the box a few times this season.. Overall I have been disappointed with the way the team plays... it looks like it is at 90% of its potential.
Over the years under Arsene's  tuteledge Arsenal have played some sublime football, I can understand how he is rebuilding the team, it is obvious, he has been unlucky with the injuries, especially with some of his buys, the players he has bought could have made the team click but it just isn't quite there...
Could be great... but not this season..

This is not mean't to be a Troll or inflamatory..

your absolutley right. the team is playing to around 80/90% of it abilities, and a combination of poor form and injuries have seen us being a little of the pace this season. kinda like the situation liverpool where in during the 04/05 season.

Our current league status has absolutely nothing to do with this year's Champions League (although I suspect we'll be back in the top four sooner rather than later).

4 days later. Do we deserve to be there now? Arsenal2009-03-16 09:02:06

Arsenal are so eratic they could be anywhere by the end of the season, their form this season hasn't exactly been consistent either.
