Reddy is only prone to an off game every once in a while, like alot of keepers in the A-League. He is definatly equal to Moss, if not better.

Don't worry, perhaps next year I will create a thread for Paston.
Algeria were in Mexico in 1986.
Also Algeria were in France in 98, they beat Scotland 3-1 or 4-1....
That was Morocco, beat Scotland 3-0.
Coincidentally, Morocco was also in Mexico in 1986 together with Algeria.el grapadura2009-10-14 20:23:35
If it is a 0-0 draw, then it goes to extra time and the away goals would not count in extra time. Any draw after ET, then it goes to penalties.
Are you sure about this? The only competition where this rule applies I can think of used to be the League Cup in England, and I'm not sure even if they still do it.
Generally in FIFA and UEFA competitions, the away goals in extra time count as they do in the regulation time.

Yeah but the meaning of that rule was kind of open to interpretation. It did look like that was the case, but the wording is pretty hazy, and if someone were to interpret it the other way i certainly wouldn't blame them.
I would put it out here saying if the conditions are like that Bahrain won't even come out onto the pitch

Ahh, not sure if anyone noticed, but 25,000 tickets sold !!!!
Wow, come on sell out.
Once and for all........AWAY GOALS DO NOT COUNT DOUBLE IN EXTRA TIME.
I hope and pray we don't try to go for 0-0 and ET. Win in 90 has to be first and only option.....doesn't it????

Agree this is cruical and that the postings of AllWhiteBeliever/timmymaddern/Liverpoolfan1 quoting the FIFA WC2010 regs give the definitive answer: AWAY GOALS IN EXTRA TIME WILL NOT COUNT AS DOUBLE
edit: FIA corrected to FIFA

Waiting on that definitive yes or no answer.
Waiting on that definitive yes or no answer.
Follow the logic - it's definitive
It's not definitive - it seems like an email someone fired off without thinking what they were writing.
The first clue is the use of the phrase "away goals will count double" - they don't. They're simply a tie-breaker.
So I don't exactly believe that email.

Once and for all........AWAY GOALS DO NOT COUNT DOUBLE IN EXTRA TIME.
Confirmed by FIFA and NZF.
If it's 0-0 at full-time and 1-1, 2-2 etc after extra-time, it's penalties.
Ah they get back to you did they?
Away goals never count double...
But good news, though unusual. Much fairer also.el grapadura2009-10-14 21:10:57

So, if that's what they are used to - let's hope we can give them 7 degrees at kick off, howling Southerly and pelting down with rain - You can't beat Wellington the All Whites on a good day

So, would it be safe to say that this is the most important football match in N.Z. ever?
Any other contenders?

Bahrain played against Inter Milan in August 2009 and the temperature was 12 degrees in Austria and lost narrowly in front of a very strong team 0-1
Bahrain played against Australia and lost narrowly 2-0, and the preference to Bahrain, and the temperature was 9 degrees Celsius with an audience 40 thousand.
League in Bahrain extends to the winter evenings the temperature is between 10 to 15 degrees Celsius and winter begins in Bahrain from December to February, with a very strong wind most days of winter.
We in Bahrain , weather that we do't give importance to this game.
My sincere greetings to you dear
Hello my friends
Bahrain always going to be bad at home
New Zealand team was strong contender to us
We are very optimistic in the second match

Are you coming to Wellington for the game? We heard about 1000 Bahrainians are coming.
Maybe , there are facilities from Bahrain Air for fans wishing to attend, I will decide after a week, and I understand that there is union of Bahraini students studying in New Zealand are conducting a campaign to mobilize the Arab students in New Zealand.
I wish to attend, depending on the circumstances of my work.
Thank you brother

Keep us posted on your plans, we're a fairly welcoming bunch.
It would be magnicient if there's a full aisle of Bahrain supporters at this game - would really add to the occasion.
We've never really had away fans before!
Melbourne and Sydney have had decent away contingents here.
But not around 1000?
That would be great to see a decent blob of red in a sea of white.
Would be nice in A-League matches too so we could get some "friendly" banter/chants going.
Ahh, not sure if anyone noticed, but 25,000 tickets sold !!!!
Wow, come on sell out.
Fijian supporters outnumbered AUckland supporters in the O-League at North Harbour a few seasons back. there were thousands of "away" fans
Confirmed by FIFA and NZF.
If it's 0-0 at full-time and 1-1, 2-2 etc after extra-time, it's penalties.
I hope and pray we don't try to go for 0-0 and ET. Win in 90 has to be first and only option.....doesn't it????

So when would be a good time for Ricki to use his "power play" option?
