u/20'S LACK OF VISION
The under 20's coach would have been well advised to put Jack Pelter
on up front in the game against Gambia the boy can hold the ball and would have intimidated the defence in the latter part of the gameas the Mexico game showed he can also finish ,an
opportunity
missed 1 down with 10 minutes to go Jacobs lacked the
vision
that could have seen the U/20's snatch a draw !
A relative, perchance?
I thought Jacobs was pretty proactive. Pelter did make a difference
on some occassions but his first touch let him down quite a bit,
though so did Brockies. They really missed Chris James though, alot
more accurate than Brockie. Great experience for the lads and
hopefully a few get scouted. Watched the final this morning, the
Argie's were pretty damn sharp in the second stansa.
Pelter trialling at sunderland is good news despite him not
impressing to date.
Draper and spoons to nix, so thats three, our rb supposedly is
getting looked at by blcakburn aswell.
Woulid like to here if boxall's had any calls
Plus four already at US Colleges. Clapham, Purcell, Keat and
Henderson.
Make that Five.
Hearing rumours Boxall is off to Santa Barbara, former home of Tony Lochhead, Ryan Nelsen, Simon Elliott, Gerard Davis among others. Hard News2007-07-24 00:17:41

I'm a little disappointed in our boys taking this route, we are
getting more attention than ever b4, why not use it as a stepping
stone into proffessional football earlier.
No offence to Pelter, he could'nt get a start ahead of Boxall
and he's trialling at a epl team.
Yeah but Pelter has English parentage. If you can't get an EU
passport you end up in the arse-end of Eastern Europe being stiffed
by criminal elements. At least this way you get a degree and
out the end of it you have a chance of an MLS place.
Remeber that two of our highest profile players in Nelsen and Elliott have made it through this path.

get picked up in the MLS draft setup and stay injury free and
you're set for a long time
You can add another to the US College system as Edgington will be
going to Louisville.
Maybe Brockie should go... ohh wait he dropped out of school to
play pro footy.... Maybe ur right about the degree thing,
p.s. sorry Brocks if u read, but you are a gd example.
