absolutely, we're a bit arrogant in assuming that we don't need
nelsen, elliott, killen, etc for games against the island
nations. vanuatu beat us a few years back, as did papua
new guinea, fiji have regularly notched up wins over us over the
years, waitakere were comprehensively out-played by ba last season,
etc etc etc
FIJI to be ranked 115th- Fact or Fiction?
Interesting thought.

Fiji are playing their WCQ's in end of August early
September.
If they win all of their games against the Island Nations they
could gain 200 points and shoot up the Fifa ranking to 115th in the
October 2007 release of the Fifa rankings. 33 places above the All
Whites.
Woo hoo. go Fiji
Wash your mouth out Londonchris!!!!Its pure fiction! Anyway everyone knows that to climb the FIFA rankings you have to cross many palms with a bit of gold and silver!!!!Hahahahahaha
scarey thought though
made even worse by the fijian national side smashing our
'invitation x1' over the next week or so
I think it's good for the OFC that one of the island nations is actually challenging you guys. Winning OFC qualifiers wasn't always going to be automatic, so maybe this will make your high-level players wake up and start playing internationals.

on a different subject, is boyens still at toronto? i
tuned in to watch some give and go's on the LA v Toronto soccerball
match the other day and they said that mo johnson had turned over
nearly the entire roster!? was boyens one of them?
...fiji have regularly notched up wins over us over the

I'm sorry, but when have these so called 'regular' wins been
notched up? I'd love to know.

No he's just out with a broken nose and concussion.
Yeah, Mo's been making a lot of trades but they've all been
good ones, aquiring high profile players and proven verterans. I
think he considers Boyens as one of his core players too because
he's one of only like, 6 players who were in the original line-up
that still start. Plus, with Jim Brennan being moved to midfield
there's no reason for Boyens to be dropped from the back 4. (other
than his current injury of course)
