May have asked before, but not sure so I'll do it again anyway.  Have any of you done a uni paper via correspondence?  I'm probably going to sign up for one through Victoria but just wanted to know if it went alright or if there were major issues with it.  Just, I don't want to pay over $1 000 and then be screwed around by some disorganized system.

Um, you probably won't be able to do it through VIC I don't think they are taking anymore students for tri 2 or summer.

I did 2 courses via correspondence last year through Lincoln was ok but overall if I had paid for it I wouldn't have been happy. So don't do it through Lincoln lol.

I've done everything involved in signing up (bar paying) months ago.  So I don't need to worry about being too late to enrol in trimester 2.

EDIT:  Is there anything good about Lincoln, though?

I just hate the idea that a small technical hitch which takes a while to fix could completely screw me over.

Massey are brilliant at running their extramural papers.

Did you cross credit it this year Clarke? or just flag and get the easy mark?

I am doing a paper through open poly which seems to be really well run. Only problem is actually doing all the study required.

Will be a completely different setup to Vic though. So can't comment on that. But yeah, from someone who's never done correspondence before it seems to work pretty well other than you have to be a bit more disciplined about setting aside some time for it.

Cross Credited the ECO, and they are being d**ks over the accounting one, Wish I did it though this year, looks like an easy paper and I could really use an extra course to do at the moment at uni. But that Lincoln paper via school is worth doing.
