U17 Warm up games.
The U17's are in Korea now.
I believe they were playing a warm up game against Korea
today. How did that go?
I think they got a game against a Korea School team in the
next couple of days as well.
Its close to their 18th August kick off against Brazil. I
can't wait.
South Korea 4 NZ 0
Also, England played South Korea on Saturday and beat them
4-0
Blimey....sounds like we are going to have to start praying.
Holy mackeral ......
- check also the report on nzsoccer.com - not sure how the team could be "over confident" unless they believed the opportunities they created in the 1st half could of been 4-5 goals lead the team to believe they were comfortable...that was only until Korea starting converting their opportunites.
Still like the NZ Warriors we need to "keep da faith" and hope this is a minor gliche to the tournament.
Theres is not doubt about it though - it is going to be tough!

I think we're going to get spanked.. . .
So I will play the positive optimist here and say if we converted
at least half of those opportunites in the 1st 20 mins (as per
nzsoccer site) then that would have changed the complexion of the
game (.....as I sit here with my fingers crossed.....)
I guess the fact that NZ made about 7 substitues during the game
would have disrupted things a bit. Lets hope our starting XI
against Brazil is a bit stronger. With 1 or 2 subs.
Are you guys getting any coverage of the tournement on
Sky in NZ?
Yeah I'm pretty sure its all live on ESPN.
