Who is this great man?
love your work
Wellington Phoenix supporters group Yellow Fever may have unearthed a new All White's star in Dominik Traunmueller, a member of Bayern Munich's under-19 team.
Credited for the rise of former Phoenix star Marco Rojas, for whom they arranged a professional trial, the supporters group have struck again with the identification of Traunmueller.
Traunmueller was born in Bangkok and has previously represented Austria at under-16 and 17 levels, playing in a 4-2 European Championship qualifing win over Poland in 2009 and two friendly matches against Slovakia which were both won.
Before joining Bayern, he played for the Bangkok Soccer League club as a junior and senior player.
He is a speedy right back who would be a welcome addition to Ricki Herbert's All Whites squad.
Some astute research conducted by Yellow Fever member 'Abris' led to contact being made via Facebook and the information being passed on to Herbert by Yellow Fever.
Traunmueller confirmed Herbert had contacted him.
"Ricki has been in contact and asked if I'm interested, and of course I said yes," Traunmueller said.
First up could be the Fifa under-20 World Cup in Colombia in July should the Junior All Whites progress from next month's Oceania qualifiers in Auckland.
For all that, Traunmueller's eligibility will have to be checked with Fifa.

Thanks everybody for all that kind words: I really appreciate it. Actually I have been an AW's fan for 2 years I thought that the change in FIFA rules for the switch of allegiance could be benefic for the team. It started with Reid and it took the great work of Gourdie to get RH in touch with Reid to convince him to switch to NZ.
And since that time I am always looking to discover new kiwi talents overseas that can help the team in the future. Also, I am sure there are still many other kiwi talents left so NZF can know them and see if they are any good for the national team.

Where do you live Abris??
all praise Abris
Yeah nice work Abris!! You must be feeling pretty good right now to see your time and hard work has done NZF and its fans a potentially prettz big favour.
I have enjoyed reading your updates, i also like the way you are not really rating the players and assuming they should all be in the squad, as some seem to think. You are simply just listing the players and keeping it updating for others to view and monitor....and look what it has acheived.
Thanks again Abris...
You are right Londonchris: some persons think that my opinion is any overseas player is for sure better than one playing in NZ. But actually I am trying to list the overseas player and make updates on their situation with their respective club.I don't make judgement on their level vs other players.
Btw I am living in Montreal,Canada.
are you a Kiwi in Canada then? (referring to you saying you'd only been a fan of the AW's for a couple of years). great work Abris, NZF should put you on the payroll.
Actually I am not a kiwi: I am originally from Morocco but I have been living in Qubec Province(french Canada) for many years. First I watched the game between NZ and Bahrain and I was supporting Bahrain but when I saw particularly Paston's and Fallon's performances I was impressed and became instantly a fan of the AW'S
That makes your work even more impressive
Cheers man
