Sunday Papers Review
Okay,
Let's start with the Sunday News.
On the back page, Matheson throws some uncertainty into the
Beckham gig mix - suggesting the possibility of Becks
potentially being double booked.
There is also a feature on Aloisi and an article on Smeltz,
from the prolific Matheson.
Still the top performing Sunday paper. Only grizzle is I
couldnt find any of these stories online.
The Sunday Star-times has an article on Bertos by Gary
Birkett, something on the Northern Premier League fiasco from Steve
Kilgallon and one of Billy Harris' more coherent columns of recent
times. I think his comments re Herdman and the Football Ferns are
probably fair.
Sadly, I couldnt for the life of me find these stories
anywhere on line (although one of the lads has posted the
Bertos and Northern Prem League stories on the YF news page - so
they must have been tucked away somewhere).
While my Herald on Sunday boycott remains in place, I did
sneak a peak at the Herald website - and there is a decent Michael
Brown story on Ahmed Elrich -

Overall, reasonable quota of NZ football stores, particularly
given no Nix result to discuss.
