hi all,
if you don't want to get too fancy the freebie MS Paint is okay - open the picture, select the crop tool, mouse over the bit of the jpg that you want, right click and copy. Open the jpg you want to superimpose on, position the mouse and then paste the image you just copied; re-size, airbrush the edges, etc. Rough and ready - otherwise use Photoshop .....

Photoshop cost heaps to get, even Photoshop elements cost lots.
There's a program called GIMP that is suppose to be like Photoshop but I'm not sure because I don't use it. It's freeware, I think.
You can do it in paint, but it's Bitmap so you get low quality images(also don't keep saving as a jpeg over and over you lose quality).
Photoshop is best, and you can get it a "copy" off torrent sites/programs. CS3 is the latest version but any version will do what you want.
