No but you've got to think he might be a chance to be included in the wider squad perhaps?
He was obviously considered highly by the coach during pre-season - how many dead rubbers will Bayern get this season? Looks like the perfect opportunity - I'd say he's got a 40% of making the squad.

Fair enough but they've still got to give games/starts to those big names permanently in the first team squad who haven't been starting and then they've got the likes of Cuisance and Davies who they'll want to expose to that level of football. They're not going to start too many youngsters in the Champions League dead rubber or not so if Cuisance and Davies start plus other first teamers with limited minutes lately then it only really leaves the bench at best (which would still be good). I was sure we were going to see him in that cup game against Cottbus so when that didn't happen it was a bit deflating. Bayern have a cup tie against Bochum next Wednesday NZT so hopefully he has some involvement there.

Full game in a 2-2 draw verus Waldhof Mannheim (9th) in Liga 3.

Mannheim down to ten men from 69 mins. 1-1 at that point.

BM II in 11th spot, probably doing better than people thought pre season.

No assists or goals for a few weeks for Singh.

Bayern played that cup tie this morning (2-1 win) and no Singh in the matchday squad. Not surprising after his 90 minutes for Bayern II yesterday. As I said above, they opted to give the likes of Perisic, Tolisso and Davies playing time. Cuisance who is probably also due some playing time, and ahead of Singh in the pecking order, didn't make it off the bench. 18 year-old forward Leon Dajaku was on the bench. Chances of a debut this season getting fainter for Singh. Perhaps our best hope is that Dortmund and Liepzig keep dropping points and they have the Bundesliga sewn up early and they give him a run at the end of the season.

Goal plus an assist in a 5-3 loss at Meppen (9th).

BM II were actually 3-1 up until 74 mins.

They had player sent off at 80 mins, and conceded 3 more goals after that to collapse.

Now 14th in Liga 3.

Absolutely wild game. Two red cards, Meppen scoring a bicycle, three Meppen goals in the last 7 minutes to come from behind.

Singh's assist was from a free kick, and his goal was courtesy of a nice cutback from Dajaku, Singh putting the ball into the bottom corner first time from the penalty spot.

Kovac in particular was already on life support heading into this season, it's been an open secret that Bayern's board were shopping around for his successor (Bayern board drama is great btw, big personalities and the place leaks like a sieve so plenty of juicy FC Hollywood tidbits invariably emerge).

Allegri seems to be angling for a job in England. I'd like to see them go for Ragnick or Ten Hag.

Bayern through to the next stage of the Champions League with two games to spare. Possibly a chance to give some younger players a run in dead rubber games?

Not dead rubber matches until they've won the group which isn't the case yet.

watching a replay of the Olympiacos game this morning and note that the commentator reckons Wenger could be the front runner to take the reigns in the short term at least....

Looks like it's a done deal per Christian Falk and Marcus Christenson in the Guardian. Interim appointment before they go after Ten Hag/Tuchel/Allegri in the summer.

I think they’ll go for Ten Hag and it’s conditional that it’s after this season. Ten Hag stated clearly that he will remain at Ajax this season. Interim manager makes sense in that respect

Bayern no longer interested in Wenger after he met with Rummenigge.

Supposedly back on again, perhaps. Wenger now set to meet Bayern face to face.

Currently leading Magdeburg 2-0 at the half courtesy of a double from wunderkid Singh.

Can't watch the match but soccerway had him listed as playing up front. I suspect he's likely sitting behind the striker/s, perhaps even as a second striker or more likely an advanced playmaker role.

Good productivity from the kid no less. Up to 4 goals & 5 assists in 11 matches so far in the 3.liga.

Aand it's gone. Wenger rules himself out of the running. You'd imagine they'll hand the reigns to Flick for the rest of the season following their hammering of BVB.

Sarpreet Singh is promoted to the first team of Bayern FC

https://oceaniafootballcenter.home.blog/2019/11/22...

The New Zealand rising star Sarpreet Singh has made a surprising and impressive move this year after a very good season at Wellington Phoenix; the 20-year old midfielder received an irrecusable offer from the German football giants Bayern FC and went to play in the country that best New Zealand player of history – Wynton Rufer – had his best years.

Despite being contracted to play in the Bayern II that plays in the German football third tier, Singh made his preseason with the first team of Bayern in United States and played against giants of European football in friendly matches – impressing the coach Niko Kovac, that was in charge of Bayern in that time. These good performances of the ex-Wellington Phoenix made him to be called up for the first team in the German Super Cup match between Bayern and Borussia Dortmund. The New Zealander did not make his debut staying only in bench.

Full game in a 1-1 draw verus 1860 München in Liga 3.

Bayern with a 6-0 thrashing of Red Star in Belgrade.

Top spot in their UCL pool now sewn up.

Any chance Singh will get minutes against Spurs in their last pool game at Allianz, on 11th Dec?

Effectively a dead rubber with Tottenham having 2nd place locked in.

Most subtle of touches (almost a complete dummy) by Singh for his assist.

Some pretty average defending in the highlights esp by Bayern II.

Full game in a 3-2 loss away at top of the table MSV Duisburg in Liga 3.

BM II with 55% possession, but drop to 18th with the loss.

The first team of course with a dead rubber UCL game against Spurs, on Wednesday. Any chance of Singh getting game time?

Bayern lost 2-1 at Bundesliga leaders Borussia M'gladbach on the weekend, to drop to 7th.

As noted in this week’s Flying Kiwis, Singh earnt the pen for BM II’s first goal with some clever play.

Other a few more defensive calaminities by his young team mates.

Very interesting to see if he makes match day squad for tomorrow’s UCL game.
