Full game in a 3-2 loss away at top of the table MSV Duisburg in Liga 3.

BM II with 55% possession, but drop to 18th with the loss.

The first team of course with a dead rubber UCL game against Spurs, on Wednesday. Any chance of Singh getting game time?

Bayern lost 2-1 at Bundesliga leaders Borussia M'gladbach on the weekend, to drop to 7th.

As noted in this week’s Flying Kiwis, Singh earnt the pen for BM II’s first goal with some clever play.

Other a few more defensive calaminities by his young team mates.

Very interesting to see if he makes match day squad for tomorrow’s UCL game.

Heh- that's a marginal pen!

That's a VERY generous opinion.

Dive would be an honest one.

25 to go and so far only one sub made (presumably for injury as it happened in the 27th minute).

Bayern are leading 3-1 so yeah, be brave and make the kid's (and our!) day..

Bayern still have one game to go, correct?

well that was pretty stupid. Zirkzee's a substitute in the reserves and Goretzka's a regular first-teamer ffs, they brought Singh and Mai there just to sit them on the bench up 3-1

That sucks.

Oh well, it's still a great honour and it shows he's being considered..

A new manager will come in in the summer so it doesn't mean much for his prospects beyond this season.

No but the more exposure, the better for his surely.

Whether he shows enough to convince his new coach, or to attract interest from other clubs, exposure can't hurt his chances.

Even though he didn't get on, hopefully it shows that he is close - keep that carrot dangling in front of him - and he can experience the preparation, atmosphere and pressure of playing in front of 70k plus.

Could be a bundesliga debut against Werder Bremen tomorrow morning

As expected named on the bench as Bayern (7th) host Werder Bremen (14th).

If he gets on he will he be the first Kiwi to play in the German top flight, since Wynton left Bremen in 1995?

Or did Aaran Lines play in Bundesliga 1 with VfL Osnabrück, about 1999?  Wiki says he did.

Actually learning Spanish with a 49 yr old German guy in Lima, Peru who is from Bremen. Wynton very much still a hero to him.

Two subs used. Fingers crossed Sarpreet is next on

Great news! Here's hoping Bayern have a few more games where they're five goals up and Singh's most likely replacement has already got a hat-trick lol.

Despite the claim on Lines' Wikipedia page, Vfl Osnabrück haven't been in the Bundesliga since the early 90s.

Brent Fisher played 3 times in Bundesliga II for Energie Cottbus, but Rufer and now Singh are the only 2 in the top flight - the likes of Lines and Burton etc at Osnabruck were never in that first tier.

So good to see the lad get first team minutes. Great sign for the future and probably a good sign of his progression since he left these shores to take up the chance in Germany. Pretty stacked squad so will have to keep banging on the door (which he has been doing) in the 3.liga in the meanwhile, but these injuries and suspension will give him a chance to stay in around that first team setup.

This time a year ago he'd just scored his first goal of the season against the Mariners. Fast forward a year and into the first team at one on the biggest clubs in world football. Love it!

For those who have sky the game is on the bein sports connect platform and will be there for the next 6 days or so.

Very interesting comments from the commentators when he comes on. Apparently he is indian australian.

I'd missed that. The commentator who mentions the A-League is one Thomas Broich.

This was a nice gesture from Hansi Flick. Shows me that Singh is rated by the coaching staff and that they like to invest time in him. Sarpreet seems to do everything right, he is the real deal.

Not required off the bench.

Brandon Borello (ex Roar) gets 20 mins for Freiburg in a 3-1 win for Bayern.

Zirkzee and Gnabry with late goals post 90 mins

Bayern has a lot of injured players right now, especially in the midfield. Their next game before the break is against Wolfsburg at home. Have a good feeling that he will get some good minutes.
