Thats like people who want to change lanes. They always have to speed up and change in front of you. Why can't they slow and slip in behind. Kiwi mentality.

And Indicators are an optional extra on most cars - You know which drivers who are unfamiliar with this option, because they rarely use the friggen things.

What about people who travel along at 40 ks an hour UNTIL confronted with an orange light, which they then speed up to get through. If they are in a hurry to get somewhere then why are they travelling at such a slow speed. Imbeciles. TheJam2008-08-19 13:42:47

Thought of another thing. The Family Health Diary ads on TV. Pharmaceutical evangelism is wrong. Planting a seed of concern in someone's mind is preying on the vulnerable. Should be illegal.
"Do you feel.......? (they always say with a concerned look). You need these..."
The hell you do. What you really need is the tosspot on the ad to f**k off and stop trying to make you question your state of health.

people who draw cocks everywhere.

I remember drawing a cock on a mate's exercise book at school and getting caned for it. I was pissed off because if I knew I was going to get 6 lashes for it I would have taken my time and drawn something that would have brought tears to Garrincha's eyes.

I did a first aid course last year and the failed doctor that conducted the course told us that less than 1 in 1000 car crashes results in a fire. Unless, of course, you are making a movie...

Best sexist thing I ever saw was during some golf tournament a couple of years ago. A whole heap of women were protesting outside the golf club the tournament was at because women weren't allowed to join it. At the back was a guy with a big banner that said "My shirt needs ironing".

also when people go like 60kmh up until the passing lane then speed up to like 120kmh. Then in an effort to pass them you floor it and pass them at over 150 and then theres a conveniently placed speed camera right down the road

Certain Auckland City fans pretending they know all about the Phoenix when they have never been to a game or near Wellington since the Phoenix started.

The same Auckland City fans who claim that because they and six friends hate the Phoenix all of New Zealand does... 6,500 in Christchuch f**kers...

I'm starting to dislike the term "do-gooder". Gets thrown around a bit too willy-nilly for my liking.

I thought it meant rain on your wedding day or a free ride when you've already paid?

Something like that   But people use it instead of the word coincidence

Why do they insist on having Womens sanitary products on TV just as your sitting down to enjoy your dinner while you  watch the news?? Or Athletes Foot creme commercals.

And why do they use blue ink? I mean if they going to ruin your dinner they might as well tell the truth. God knows how many girls out there think they are not normal because they are not "blue".

A few years back they specialised in having sheep dip commercials on around dinner time too and show you microscopic worms and stuff as you were enjoying your lamb roast!!

But those worms taste so good...

(this is coming from a dinner table that regularly had conversations about blowing up various things, how the sheep are killed and various other "dinnertime" topics...)yomcat2008-08-19 16:10:30

I get that little bit closer to suicide every time I see someone spell 'their' as 'there', especially when its on this forum where they dont catch it even after they post. Reading Salient is worse actually, they know their letters arent going to be proof-read yet every week there's at least five 'there' instead of 'their'sssss.

How about the series of building materials ad on TV where the Doris fronting the ad implores you to phone 0800GIVEUSMONEY or something and always shows you a telephone while she does it. I always feel like saying "Oh, one of those things, riiiiiight, I was just on my way to the backyard to send you smoke signals".
Advertisers really do treat the public like a pack of morons.

On average, 50% of people are morons. So it's almost justified.

People that use statistics incorrectly to back up their claims. Or misleadingly. That pisses me off.

People.  Just people.

Oh and Britain winning loads of gold medals at the Olympics, but doing it in elite sports that require a large amount of technology so the third world can't compete (sailing, cycling, rowing, horse riding etc etc)
